Howard’s mission is to serve artists by helping them manage their businesses.

 

Here's an introduction to some of what we do for artists:

 

1. We collaborate with artists to build a savvy business plan because We believe that planning is the key to success.

2. We help artists create a marketing plan to get their art from where it is now to where you want it to go. 

3. We help them find places to hang their work. We currently curate 17 spaces in the Portland area. We also help other curators and gallerists curate their spaces and find artists that match the goals for their businesses.

4. We help artists craft their images and the image of their art so that they and their art are perceived the way they wish.

5. We help artists build and manage their contacts so that they can have productive communication with their fans and collectors.

6. We help artists develop a financial plan that fits their life and goals.

7. We help expose art to people who buy art.

8. We help artists use print, framing and other services effectively, efficiently and economically.

9. We help artists use electronic tools to keep track and grow their businesses.

10. We help artist find continuing educational opportunities, residencies, studio spaces, grants, fellowships and generally help them grow their skills.

 

And more…all with the intention of helping each artist achieve their own personal goals.
